Junior's Birthday

My youngest grandchild will be turning 6 in Sept. and I can't believe I am ahead of the game in making him a card!!  I loved the fold of this card, which was the online bonus technique from Technique Junkies...I used Stampin Up stamps to make the card.  I "suspended" the frog and dragon fly by attaching them to a piece of acetate... Now I have another one to make for my great niece Ella who is 3 days older than Junior...will post it once it is done...Here is Junior's:

I added a second photo, as I added the forgotten snail and to hopefully get the color more in focus.

As always, your comments are greatly appreciated!!

I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT THIS CARD ALSO FITS THE GINGERSNAP CREATIONS 3-D CHALLENGE WHICH YOU CAN FIND HERE  Go check it out.  It should be great fun to see what everyone comes up with...

  2. I do love your name... I was going to call my daughter Willow 8 years ago...but I had another boy! lol

The card is fabulous. LOTS of fun.(And I LOVE frogs) If I get a bit of time this week I think I'll try this fold technique out as I bought myself a few fun stamps that would fit the idea well, just as these wonderful images do).

  3. Willow this card is so perfect for a 6 year old. Although personally I have a frog phobia, but your frog is a cute one - WHEW! He will love this. Funnily enough I made a September birthday card yesterday for my cousin (not on Blog yet). TFS and you must tell us about his reaction when he receives it! Lynne M x
